Many women are affected by vaginal thrush
at some point in their lives and it may recur regularly!
Thrush, is also known as Candida or Candidosis and is a yeast
infection caused by the Candida species of fungus.
"Thrush can be treated without a doctor's
prescription. Thrush is normally treated using creams
and pessarys"
Diagnosis of vaginal thrush is initially from the vaginal
discharge, but if you are unsure then visit your GP or local
GUM clinic where they will perform a pelvic examination and
take a vaginal swab to check.
