Don't Alienate Yourself!

Good etiquette is like many things, smile good manners and common sense, but as so many swingers seem to fall at the first hurdle and leave their hosts with chins on the ground we thought it wise to put together some simple tips for success!

Be courteous
Quite simply, treat others as you wish to be treated yourself. Remember this lifestyle is full of people with insecurities and fears.
Be Friendly
It doesn't matter if you are interested in actually playing with someone or not, there is no need to be rude. Keep it polite and you'll make plenty of friends in this scene.
Reply to all messages you receive
It doesn't take long to reply to someone that's taken the time to write to you, so even if after looking at their profile you decide they are not for you, send them a quick 'no thanks' email at the very least.
Respect the feelings of others
Whilst you may feel very comfortable in all situations, you must remember that not everyone feels the same, if you notice that some one is becoming uncomfortable in the situation, take a step back and let them compose again.
Don't push your luck
Whether in the chatroom or by way of the onsite mail boxes, don't get pushy. If you do you will simply end up alienating yourself from the rest of the chatroom and possibly have yourself reported for harassment.
Only partake if you want to
Only do what you want, when you want and with whom you want, don't get yourself involved in a situation due to pressures from other people including your partner.
Your right to say no
If you need to say no to someone, then do so, but don't give an explanation, it is the explanation that will generally cause problems, and not the no itself.
Drugs and drink
Whilst most people will enjoy a drink, too much will ruin your chance of playing with anyone and effect your own performance. Drugs however, are generally looked down on in the swinging scene.
Condoms
Not always required but something that should always be to hand when attending a party or a meet.
Say Thank You
A quick call the day after a meet will go a long way to you being recommended to friends and possible even invited back.
